Becoming a Memory is an ongoing body of work exploring my surroundings as I resettleback into the city where I was born and migrated from over twenty yearsago. Upon my return just over two years ago and still feeling like anoutsider, I have become aware of many changes in the city such as places thatexisted but are no longer there. This project responds to my constant needof belonging to the place I was born in, recalling my roots and preservingmemory.
